About Terra Voce
PROFILE OF TERRA VOCE MUSIC CONSORTTerra Voce, the name taken from Earth and Voice, was established in 2005. The first intention was only to compete in Ciputra Mall Choir Competition "A Thousand of Angels", in which Terra Voce became the 1st winner as well as getting the prize of Best Conductor for our chorus master, Benyamin Franklin Manumpil, or widely known as Benny Manumpil.
Benyamin Franklin Manumpil
Benyamin Franklin Manumpil (Benny). He began his first vocal training under the tutelage of Pranawengrum Katamsi at the age of 8. His formal music training was attained from STT Music Course Jakarta in 1995 - 1996.Upon graduation, he started coaching church choirs and in 1996 formed Impromptu Singers, one of the most prominent vocal groups in Jakarta. He also conducts some of Jakarta choirs, such as St. Peter Choir and Ursula Canisius Voice.
Recently Benny is the conductor and music director of Terra Voce Music Consort which has just won silver diploma for open mixed choir at Asian voyage of song at Pattaya,Thailand 2007.
What We Offer
Secular events such as Caroling (Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc).Invite us to perform in concerts, and we would also be gladly involved!
We would also love to serve church mass and ceremonial events needing standard or even special repertoirs
Also to compose of songs.
