About Terra Voce

PROFILE OF TERRA VOCE MUSIC CONSORT

Terra Voce, the name taken from Earth and Voice, was established in 2005. The first intention was only to compete in Ciputra Mall Choir Competition ?A Thousand of Angels?, in which Terra Voce became the 1st winner as well as getting the prize of Best Conductor for our chorus master, Benyamin Franklin Manumpil, or widely known as Benny Manumpil.

With the success and a promising future ahead, the pioneers wanted to take Terra Voce further. The choir which previously temporary and had uncertain members began to evolve as it continues to perform in various secular events.

In 2006, Terra Voce once again competed in Ciputra Mall to the 2nd position, and in 2007 Terra Voce managed to once again achieved the 1st prize. In the year 2006 Terra Voce also achieved the 2nd position in Christmas Choir Vaganza, a choir competition held by Yayasan Pelayanan Kasih with 100 millions rupiah as the 1st prize.

With the achievment at such an early stage, Terra Voce dares to join Festivals, Competitions and also Concerts to broaden its wings not only in Indonesia but also abroad. In 2007, Terra Voce attended International Choir Competition in Pattaya, Thailand and achieved ?Silver Grade A?. And also competed in Ciputra Mall to 1st winner.

And in 2008, Terra Voce participate in ITB Festival Choir in Bandung, and achieved "2 Winner for Mixed Chamber Choir Category"
